An attack on a teen by a man at a McDonalds in South Los Angeles was caught on the restaurant's video camera. The man allegedly punched the 16-year-old girl over an argument of who skipped in the line.

This all happened in a matter of seconds at the McDonald's near Crenshaw and Florence in South LA on the morning of September 14. The unidentified man wearing a blue polo shirt suddenly attacked and repeatedly punched the 16-year-old girl in the face, then afterwards fled the scene along with two small boys, who were with him during the incident, in a red truck with no license plate.

The LAPD have released the video in hopes of capturing the man with help from the public in identifying the alleged attacker who the LAPD say is a 35 and 40-years-old black male, five feet, ten inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds.

From watching the video, the man with two young boys can be seen 'bogarding' two girls in line prompting another teenage girl, the victim in the incident, to confront the man which led to the attack on the 16 year-old who was later treated at a nearby hospital for her injuries.

The C in their first release "The Sound Of C" stands for the Belgian club Confetti’s in Brasschaat, near Antwerp. Serge Ramaekers en Dominique Sas were working on a marketing campaign to gain more publicity for the club. One of the servers at Confett’s (Peter Renkens) became the face of the marketing campaign, which included the single "The Sound Of C". To shoot a music video the band was dropped at the main shopping street in Antwerp De Meir and performed "The Sound Of C" in front of hundred citizens passing by. Due to the success of the first single, a live act was put together and Confetti’s traveled the world to promote their New Beat music. On stage singer Peter was always wearing a captain uniform. The dress code for New Beat was black & white clothes combined with childish accessories. In 1989 they released their only album "92… Our First Album"

The Giant Isopod...

Looking like it just crawled out of a bad science fiction movie, the giant isopod is without a doubt one of the strangest creatures found in the deep sea. Known scientifically as Bathynomus giganteus, it is one of about nine members of the genus Bathynomus. It is also the largest known members of the isopod family, a group of crustaceans closely related to shrimps and crabs. The giant isopod is also related to the small pillbugs that you can find in the garden. In fact, this insect-like creature is sometimes referred to as the giant pillbug. Giant isopods are not usually fished commercially, although some can be found in the occasional oceanside restaurant in northern Taiwan, where they are boiled and served with rice.

The Goblin Shark ( NL: De Koboldhaai )

The goblin shark, Mitsukurina owstoni (Jordan, 1898), is a bizarre, sinister-looking creature. Growing to a length of over 3.8 m, it has a soft, flabby body, pinkish-gray color, and has a peculiar, blade-like snout overhanging long, highly protruding jaws with with slender, fang-like teeth. The jaws are highly specialized to rapidly extend and quickly snap up small prey.

The goblin shark has long, sharp teeth in the front of its jaws used to capture prey; the upper teeth are slightly longer than the lower teeth. The teeth in the back of the mouth are smaller and used to crush prey. As with other sharks, the teeth are located in rows that rotate into use as needed.

This is a really freaky one... The Candiru...

Candiru or (or willie) fish, refers to parasitic freshwater catfish of a number of genera in the family Trichomycteridae.
They are found in the Amazon River and have a reputation among the natives as the most feared fish in its waters, even over the piranha.
They are eel-shaped and translucent, making them almost impossible to see in the water.

This fish is also known to attack humans and animals and swim into an orifice (the vagina, anus, or even the penis—and deep into the urethra). Because of spines protruding from the fish, it is almost impossible to remove except through surgery. Though there have been documented candiru attacks on humans, there is no evidence the fish can survive once inside a human.

The Gerboa

Jerboas are the bulk of the membership of the family Dipodidae; they are small jumping desert rodents of Asia and northern Africa that resemble mice with a long tufted tail and very long hind legs. The small forelegs are not used for locomotion. In general, Asiatic jerboas have five toes on their hind feet and African jerboas have three; the shapes of their ears vary widely between species. Jerboa fur is long, soft and silky. Diet varies considerably: some are specialist seed, insect, or plant eaters, others are omnivores. Jerboas obtain energy by eating plants.

The Frilled Shark, a species of shark rarely seen alive because its natural habitat is about 2,000 feet under the sea was captured on film by staff at a Japanese marine park this week.

The Awashima Marine Park in Shizuoka, south of Tokyo, was alerted by a fisherman at a nearby port on Sunday that he had spotted an odd-looking eel-like creature with a mouthful of needle-sharp teeth.
Marine park staff caught the 5 foot (1.6 meter) long creature, which they identified as a female frilled shark, sometimes referred to as a "living fossil" because it is a primitive species that has changed little since prehistoric times.

The shark appeared to be in poor condition when park staff moved it to a seawater pool where they filmed it swimming and opening its jaws.

"We believe moving pictures of a live specimen are extremely rare," said an official at the park. "They live between 1,968 and 3,280 feet (600 and 1,000 meters) under the water, which is deeper than humans can go."

Harlequin-type ichthyosis (also harlequin ichthyosis, ichthyosis congenita, Ichthyosis fetalis or keratosis diffusa fetalis), a skin disease, is the most severe form of congenital ichthyosis, characterized by a thickening of the keratin layer in fetal human skin. In sufferers of the disease, the skin contains massive, diamond-shaped scales, and tends to have a reddish color. In addition, the eyes, ears, mouth, and other appendages may be abnormally contracted. The scaly keratin greatly limits the child\'s movement. Because the skin is cracked where normal skin would fold, it is easily pregnable by bacteria and other contaminants, resulting in serious risk of fatal infection.

Het zijn kleine, gesegmenteerde diertjes die leven in een vochtige omgeving. Ze komen overal op de wereld voor in zout of zoet water, maar ook in vochtige omgevingen op het land, bijvoorbeeld in mossen. Ze zijn te vinden op grote hoogte in de Himalayas (boven 6.000 m), tot in de diepzee (beneden 4.000 m) en van de polen tot aan de evenaar. De grootte varieert van minder dan 0,1 tot circa 1,5 mm.

Beerdiertjes die op mossen leven zijn eraan gewend, dat het mos soms volledig uitdroogt en kunnen overleven door te verschrompelen tot een soort zak-achtige vorm.

This unusual amphibian is blind, lives to 100, and goes ten years at a stretch without food. It lives in the subterranean waters of Italy, Croatia and Herzegovenia, where it skeeves out the locals with its strange, human-like skin. Its nickname, in fact, is the “human fish”. Unlike most amphibians, the olm lives in the water for its whole life. Another oddity of the olm: its neotenic (larval) gills.

The Star-nosed Mole lives in wet lowland areas and eats small invertebrates, aquatic insects, worms and mollusks. It is a good swimmer and can forage along the bottoms of streams and ponds. Like other moles, this animal digs shallow surface tunnels for foraging; often, these tunnels exit underwater.
The incredibly sensitive nasal tentacles are covered with almost one hundred thousand minute touch receptors known as Eimer's organs.

Giel Beelen en Gerard Ekdom van 3FM kregen afgelopen nacht een vreemd telefoontje. Ene Otto van 19 jaar oud belde om 04.23 uur om 'Viva la Vida' van Coldplay aan te vragen. Het was zijn laatste wens: over tien uur zou hij euthanasie plegen.

Slechte grappen

Giel maakte eerst zijn gebruikelijke slechte grappen ('we kunnen je verzoekje over elf uur draaien'). Toen hij bedacht dat het misschien niet om een hoax zou gaan, werd hij serieuzer.

Kanker

Otto vertelde dat hij al vier jaar kanker had; hij had enkele dagen geleden besloten om euthanasie te laten plegen. Hij experimenteerde de laatste tien uur van zijn leven met allerlei verschillende drugs. Het hoogtepunt in zijn leven was 3FM.

This is a short yet incredible BBC film clip of an Egyptian Archaeologist who has excavated incredible and extravgant new structures beneath the infamous Sphinx in Egypt.

He has uncovered a "Dog " statue as well as a "Donkey statue." This is just amazing footage and if it is in fact real, it is quite an amzing find for humanity. So much can be learned from these new discoveries. You can make your own decisions and opinions on this video and the findings in it. I think it is just incredible.
